Hey so umm as most of you know, I am an avid anime fan. Practically watched over 200+ animes and am part of the anime club at my school (fuck you, faggots).

I was just wondering if anyone else watches anime, that could probably link me up to something worth watching. It could be mainstream or not mainstream (I've watched/or am watching all the mainstream on-going animes).

As of right now, I'm watching Mirai Nikki (means Future Diaries). Loving this anime, intense, psychotic, all the good stuff.

I watch Bleach. Read & Watch Fairy Tail, & Read One Piece. Although One piece has been dragging Out with them being stuck on an island for fucking 8+ chapters. So I kinda stopped with that till they get off of the god damn island. and that's about it for me.

Watched all of those/watching them. Bleach is horrible right now, they should have ended the entire series after Aizen's fight. Absolutely hate Bleach as of right now. One piece is alright, I suppose; everyone has gotten stronger after 2 years so I'm expecting a lot of fight scenes in the next couple of chapters. And I stopped watching Fairy Tail after the new arc (after they all die and come back lol), I'll start watching it after Zeref comes back.

As for Full Metal Alchemist, I watched both the original series and brotherhood. A lot of people prefer the original to brotherhood but I think brotherhood is more plot-driven than the original. The original FMA had a lot of fight scenes but I like the alternative ending to brotherhood.

BTW, all of those are mainstream. lol

if your looking for an anime with pretty decent fight scenes and very GOOD philosophical mind fuck, not so happy anime, then this one is a must. basically its about a dying earth, after the death of the earths life source (the sun named moon) a girl named luna. i cant go into details without getting on epic spoilers, so watch it.

Now and then here and there
this one my friend has told me about, probably 3 years ago lol, i didnt get to watching it til a few days ago at my job, but it is definitely a brutal anime when it comes to the ugly side of humanity and war. so again this is in a world where there is only a limited supply of water, so nations end up killing each other for the supply, well it might not sound epic on paper, but its sure to bring u good times and sad times watching it.

the cutest, saddest anime you will ever see, great character plots. these anime characters r one of the most deepest and "real" ones ive ever seen in anime.

berserk
i am probably the only one of my friends that has given this anime a chance, to me it is a masterpiece on so many levels. its flaw though, is that it drags on to get into those epic mind fucks and "oh no...noo..NOOO dont tell me that just happened!!" momments, if u can get through the first 5 episodes of medieval hack & slash and killing and regular war deaths, then you will be rewarded with the shit thats as epic as lelouch in code geass, i think this main character from berserk "guy called guts" is my 2nd fave anime anti hero.

well hope u get to atleast half those shows, cus it took my like 8 mins to type this nonsense

I heard one of the main characters or the main character gets brutally killed or something? Definitely going to give it a try. I shall watch it today!

no kissing on the 1st date but yeah berserk gets pretty intense again though the first episodes might not be your style, but it gets very epic in the end, yeah ppl die..alot

Umm.. Berserk is quite old, I don't like watching poorly drawn anime (not saying it's poorly drawn, just compared to the new-ish animes). I'm a bit picky when it comes to that sort of thing, I know I'm a fucking hypocrite. I'll gladly watch Berserk's new movie though; heard it was going to come out sometime next year in January.

I might casshern sins a try though.

yeah i thought the same thing with the old drawing style, but cus ur not gonna watch it i might as well tell u what brings this anime to a new level, the main characters deal with death, torture, rape, kidnapping, love, hate, and sacrifice pfft just a lot of emotional things on many levels. the ending though, damn its pretty epic, u might google it, or u can go to www .justdubs.net nd watch the English dubs of alot of anime there. but the anime takes slow to get into its rhythm and it only has 24 episodes (which i dont have a prob with, but the manga goes wayyy more into the story) and casshern sins, if u like episode 2 then the anime is for u. if u dont like episode 2 then i dont think ul like it.
